One reason summers are special at St. David's is because our beautiful gardens are at their peak of bloom and color. Make your day special too. Stop and spend a few moments to drink in their calming presence. With thanks to the St. D. gardeners who till the soil and tend the flora all year long. What a restorative ministry they practice!

More than 200 guests celebrated Hope and Change for Haiti at the 2nd Annual "Engage for Change" Gala Fundraiser on August 22 at the RI Shriners' Imperial Room in Cranston. Pastor Wyatt offered the Invocation, followed by the National Anthems of the United States and Haiti, well-wishes from an assortment of office holders and representatives of human services programs, and musical performances including singing, Haitian drums, and rap music. Momentum is building for this grass-roots organization, under the leadership of St. David's own Dr. Norly Germain and Aniece Germain. Keynote Speaker Honorable Ana Quezada, State Senator from District 2, Providence, offered recognition and gratitude for the work the Germains have been doing in their 10 years in Rhode Island, attesting to how H & CH has helped meet the critical needs of families who have lived in hurricane-battered Haiti for generations.

Church Beyond the Walls is a weekly ministry that turns Burnside Park in Providence into a church for the homeless and disenfranchised. St. David's goes there every other month to feed those hungry in body and spirit. Call our office for information.

What's happening at St. David's

Meet Rev. Andrea

Well into her second year with us, our Pastor has resonated with her flock with a style that is both engaging and challenging. Incremental changes both big and small: This is the future of our little home-on-the-hill. With a scriptural account of Jesus, and a message for our time, meet Rev. Andrea here.

Hope Alzheimer's Center Services

I want to remind everyone here at St. David's, that you are all welcome to attend the worship service with me once a month, at the Hope Alzheimer's Center.

St. David's is has on its property space it makes available for community organizations to utilize for their meetings and special events. There are two halls with kitchens that can be rented at nominal cost.

Our Holidays on-the-Hill Bazaar (See story here.) is but one example of the many ways the upper hall can be adopted for almost any purpose. We welcome interested parties to visit us and see what we can offer.
