Blessing of the Animals: A special pet-friendly service held each October in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. Parishioners and members of the community are invited to bring their furry, fuzzy, feathered or webbed family members to church for a special blessing.
Epiphany Pageant: Each January in honor of the Feast of the Epiphany, the youth of the parish perform the story of the birth of Jesus, complete with scenery, costumes and music. Sunday School teachers provide the script and the training for this popular parish tradition.
Holidays on-the-Hill Bazaar: November is the annual bazaar month for the parish. Preparations begin months in advance for this very special church tradition, led by a committee of volunteer parishioners. The bazaar has become a popular, festive occasion drawing hundreds of visitors who come for the many goods for sale by local vendors, for lunch, and for the merry atmosphere that signals the start of the Christmas season.
Grannies' Attic: Twice a year our parish grannies sort and price contributions for lucrative tag sales to benefit our church. Bring your unwanted items for their transformation of "treasure from trash" in the spring and during our fall bazaar.
May Breakfast: The May Breakfast recently returned to St. David’s on-the-Hill on the first Sunday each May as a much-anticipated annual event. It allows the community at large to gather together to celebrate the beginning of spring with a morning of fellowship, food and fun. Guests are treated to a freshly cooked, hot breakfast including a wide variety of pancakes, including gluten free, and other delicious offerings. Proceeds from the event benefit the church.
